Late Wednesday night, Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announcing two arrests in a case that rocked the Capital city. In April 2020, the 7-year-old died after at least a dozen shots were fired into his home while he was playing video games inside.
Chief skip Holbrook says that this is a case that tug at his heartstrings, but a case that has lingered because of what he calls no cooperation from the community, but on Wednesday night, two suspects were charged with the murder of seven year old knowledge. Sims Trayvon Wilson and quartets carter are facing multiple charges including murder and attempted murder in the little boy’s death. On Wednesday chief skip Holbrook says, U. S. Marshals in Columbia, police arrested the men roughly a mile from where the april 2020 shooting happened, investigators say at least a dozen rounds were shot into the boy’s Columbia home that night, Killing little knowledge and wounding his 13 year old sister. To this day, Holbrook says he believes Sims was not the intended target. Since then, investigators, community members and family have been searching for whoever pulled the trigger with little luck until now, this was not a good moment for our city and and I would say this, we got to be better than this. This case is lingered because we have not had cooperation. We were we were better in this and I just appeal to our citizens were going to say this is enough.
