The fourth quarter of the year has a reputation for India’s worst air quality. It’s due to burning debris from overgrown crops, vehicle emissions, or firecracker burns — the effect on Air Quality is serious, making breathable air a luxury.
As a result, during this time of year, we see new technology enter the home air purification market. Realme, a smartphone maker, has joined the market just ahead of the holiday shopping season.
Dyson India has now introduced its upgraded line of air purifiers in India, which include two new air purifiers with HEPA H13 standard air filtration that claim to remove 99.5 per cent of pollutants (greater than 0.1 micrograms), allergens, bacteria, viruses, pollen and mould spores from the air.
Furthermore, according to Dyson, these air cleaners are 20% quieter than their predecessors.
Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and Dyson Purifier Cool in India
The upgraded Dyson Air Purifiers are available in two variations: Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and DYson Purifier Cool.
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool is particularly beneficial in the winter season because it emits hot air apart from purifying the air and costs Rs. 55,900. While the latter can project purged air across a larger space and costs Rs. 45,900.
Both of the air purifiers are available in White/Silver and Black/Nickel hues. You can get these air purifiers from Amazon, Flipkart, the company’s 12 Demo locations, the official web store, and certain Croma & Reliance retail shops.
Features and specifications of the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool and Dyson Purifier Cool
Both air purifiers are similar in function, although the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool has an extra feature of projecting clean hot air throughout the room and is useful in areas like northern India, where temperatures drop severely during the winter.
The Dyson Purifier Cool is taller than the original.
Both versions are identical to their predecessors in terms of design and have improvements that the company claims have resulted in enhanced air-purification capabilities and a 20% quieter operation.
Dyson has reengineered the airflows pathways, which have a completely sealed HEPA 13 filtration process. The company claims that because of the enhanced sealing, any incoming, unfiltered air is now prevented from bypassing the filters. The Air Multiplier function remains the same as in previous versions.
Both of these Dyson air purifiers come with remote control and an app for your smartphone, which works on both iOS and Android. They also work with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, allowing you to adjust the room’s temperature by voice.
